Doug Rose Has Died

 This is likely one of the harder notes I have to write here. Good friend and mentor, Author and Guide, our champion of wild fish and bright waters- Doug  Rose has died after a brief illness. I need a little time to digest all of this. And I will share some thoughts and feelings of Doug's friendship and generous spirit here soon. For now I will say that the outstanding impression that I have always had of Doug Rose was that he sought Grace in all things. I will miss his frequent blog postings and fishing reports, and his articles on the fishing, natural history and lore of this region. And I will especially miss seeing him on our waters.
